Braids that are worn gives out a sense of one’s creativity it is a Fashion statement. This is a style for the Bold, the brave, a hair style for the classy yet rebel. Braids are for everyone. It has come a long way its origins traces back many years to the Motherland Africa. This is a social art a way of life for hair. The Women in the salons or homes socialize over braiding, talking about the latest reality TV shows or Men LOL. Braids are worn by Women Men and Children of all races ages and can be worn at many different occasions. the style can be worn long, short, big or small however you like them. There are thousands of styles. Micro Braids and French Braids are all different braided hairstyles.    

Micro Braids By Samantha

Micro braids also known as “singles” or English Braids are my favorite. This hairstyle three strands of hair and is created with a small section of hair. You can wear it in many styles and it can last for 3 to 4 months. But the only thing you would have to worry about with this is the process of taking them down and waiting 3 months for your hair to recover. When wearing Micro braids it’s also good to make sure you wrap your hair every night to keep hair from frizzing up and you want to spray your hair with a light oil sheen in case your hair start to get dry. I Braid my own hair It took me 18 hours to do my hair in Micro Braids. I think I am very talented because I can Braid my own hair and by doing other peoples hair I can make extra money.

French Braids By Samantha

Are a lot like Cornrows. In this particular style of the hair is braided to the scalp with 3 pieces of hair one crossing the other. It can be styled in zigzags, straight pattern or however you desire. This style is a lot more complicated than the micro braid. There are different styles of French Braids, the fishtail braid, the Dutch braid, and the classic French braid. Braids can be worn in so many designs the ideas are endless.  french braids
